At the time of writing, we have had a few lovely spring days with glorious sunshine which has been ideal for walking. Last weekend Jason and I visited Rhosneigr and enjoyed a lovely beach walk with the dogs. A few brave surfers were out and it seemed a great, if little cold for me day for surfing for those hardy souls.
Work has started at the Hut on our spring refurbishment. All the rooms and hallways are getting a coat of paint and we have a new bright colour scheme. Why change, some have asked? We tend to redecorate every couple of years to keep everywhere pristine and this year we are also replacing the hallway carpets as well. We we never that sure about the grey check, but many said how much they liked it. I won't reveal the new colour yet, but just let's say it is 'rustic'.
It has been quiet in Holyhead over the winter months, but as spring and Easter get ever closer, many businesses like ourselves are getting ready for the 2024 season.
Bookings are now starting to come in, shall we say thick and fast! It definitely pays to book early. Our smart prising system favours early DIRECT bookings, so if you are planning a stay, best get booking.
